PROF. HYUK-JIN CHA

Professor

Prof. Cha graduated from SNU's College of Pharmacy in 1999 and earned a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2004, focusing on MAPK signaling in the cell cycle. After post-doctoral research at Harvard University on stress signaling, he established his lab at CHA University in 2007, studying stress responses in various stem cells. Later, he explored pluripotent stem cell signaling as an associate professor at Sogang University. Since 2018, he has been at SNU's College of Pharmacy where he focused on applying stem cells technology and gene editing to biomedical sciences.
